Speeding Tickets / Multas por excesso de velocidade

Hoje paguei minha primeira multa de trânsito na vida. E foi por excesso de velocidade. E foi com um SmartCar. E não foi uma, mas foram 3 multas! E tudo isso aconteceu em menos de 24 horas. E o pior de tudo: 2 foram no mesmo lugar, mesmo pardal!!

Tudo aconteceu no começo de julho ao fazer a mudança de casa em Amsterdã (vide mensagem anterior). Resolvi alugar um Smart por ser mais barato. Barato, sei... poderia ter pago o taxi. No total foram duas multas de 14 euro (dirigindo a 87km/h onde o limite é 80km/h) e uma de 34 euro (93km/h).

É justo, temos que admitir. Mas não gostei nada nada...


Today I paid my first speeding ticket ever. Driving a SmartCar. Not one ticket, but three! And all three of them in a period of less than 24 hours. Worse: two tickets were at the same spot!!

It all happened in the beginning of July when I moved in Amsterdam (see previous message). I rented a SmartCar because it was the chapest option. Yeah, cheap... I should have paid the taxi. In total I got two tickets of 14 euro each (driving at 87km/h when the limit was 80km/h) and another for 34 euro (93km/h).

It's fair, we must admit. But I didn't like it at all...
